The challenge

Twenty years of manzanita and volunteer pine, no equipment access past the county road, and a survey pin nobody had seen since 2004.

The result

Buildable pad delivered a week ahead of the framer's mobilization, with the oak grove intact and a permanent access road the owner still uses.

What we did

  1. 01Located pins and flagged the oak grove the owner wanted preserved
  2. 02Cut a 12-foot access corridor from the county road to the pad location
  3. 03Mulched the bulk in place, grappled and hauled anything over 8 inches
  4. 04Ground 40+ stumps below grade and dressed the pad
